Still looking for a perfect drink the 1st of January? Well, stop here and try out at least one!

Below are some of the most common bubbly cocktails. Most of them are made with Champagne of course. It's not so cheap, but also Cava will do just fine..

Millennium Cocktail

Milennium cocktail

This cocktail was specially invented to succesfully start the beginning of a new century. But it's certainly a great way to continue it..

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o Ice
o 25 ml Vodka (raspberries flavored)
o 25 ml fresh raspberries juice
o 25 ml orange juice
o Champagne
o 2 raspberries/glass


* Preparations:

o Shake vodka, raspberries juice and orange juice with ice
o Strain into a pre-chilled flute glass
o Complete with chilled Champagne and give it a quick stir.
o Garnish with raspberries and serve

 


The Acrobat

Cider isn't often used in cocktails en that's a shame, because it can give the cocktail an extra touch.

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o Ice
o 50 ml Whisky
o 25 ml Cointreau
o 25 ml lime juice
o cider
o a slice of lemon


* Preparations:

o Stir all ingredients except cider in a mixing glass with ice
o Strain into a highball glass filled with ice
o Complete with cider and garnish with a lime or lemon wedge
o Serve with a swizzle stick


Buck's Fizz (easy to make)

Buck's Fizz

No, it's not the 'Making Your Mind Up'-thing.. And no, it's not orange juice.. The original cocktail was invented in the Buck's Club in London and made of Bollinger-champagne. People say: "The better the quality of the Champagne, the better it tastes.."

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o 50 ml fresh orange juice
o 50 ml Champagne or sparklinkg white wine


* Preparations:

o Both ingredients must be chilled!
o Fill half flute glass with orange juice
o Complete with Champagne or any other sparkling white wine    Done!


Amarettine

Amarettine

Cheap sparkling white whine is de base of this attractive cocktail. Use sweet bubblewhine if you like sweet drinks, otherwise you should use a dry whine. Warning! It's not just an attractive drink!

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o +/- 8 ml Amaretto
o +/- 8 ml Dry Vermouth
o Sparkling White Wine


* Preparations:

o Stir Amaretto and Vermouth in a cold mixing glass
o Strain into a flute glass
o Complete with sparkling white wine
o Serve cold.


Bombay Sherry Punch

Bombay Sherry Punch

An unusual mix for a party: you can dilute it as much as you like, ideal! This recipe serves 16 glasses!

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o Ice cubes (with fruit inside)
o 1 bottle Cognac
o 1 bottle Sherry
o 1 part Maraschino
o 1 part Curacao
o 2 bottles Champagne or Sparkling White Wine
o soda water
o red cherries and lemon slices


* Preparations:

o All ingredients must be cooled before starting!
o Stir Cognac, Sherry, Maraschino and Curacao in a big punch bowl.
o Add the wine and soda water (to taste)
o At the last moment drop the ice cubes with fruits in.
o Serve in lowball glasses garnished with a red cherry and a lemon slice 


Kir Royale (easy!)

Kirr Royale

A daring improvement of the modest cassis/white wine- drink! You make the normal Kir with (sparkling) white wine and a splash of Creme de Cassis. This one's different!

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o 2 drops Creme de Cassis (or to taste)
o 13 ml Cognac
o Champagne


* Preparations:

o Pour Cassis and Cognac in a flute glass
o Complete with cold Champagne


Campari Fizz

Campari Fizz

The bittersweet Campari is a natural talent in this mix of orange juice and sparkling white wine or champagne. Adding more color or taste isn't necessary at all.

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o Ice
o 25 ml Campari
o 25 ml orange juice
o Champagne


* Preparations:

o Shake Campari and Orange juice with ice
o strain into a flute glass
o Complete with Champagne and serve


Champagne Cocktail

Referred to all over the world as the classic champagne cocktail recipe. It sounds like a bizarre combination of ingredients – but you’ll be surprised by the result. Perhaps what seems most strange is that as you drink it the flavour changes from dry to sweet.The classic champagne cocktail can be too sweet for some people. The Cognac gives the kick and the pleasure, so if u want, you can leave out the sugar.

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o 1 Sugar Cube
o 4 dashes Angostura Bitters
o 1 part Cognac
o Champagne


* Preparations:

o Drop a sugar cube in the flute glass
o Pour in the Bitters
o Pour in the Cognac
o Complete slowly with chilled Champagne


Caribbean Champagne

Caribbean Champagne

Bananas and rum are almost obviously associated with the tropics, but by Caribbean we don't immediately think about wine. Do think about it that France and its many Caribbean islands, like Martinique and Guadeloupe, share a long history together.

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o +/- 8 ml Light Rum
o +/- 8 ml Creme de Banane
o Champagne
o banana slices


* Preparations:

o Pour rum and creme de banane in a pre chilled flute glass
o Complete with chilled Champagne
o Complete with chilled Champagne and give it a quick stir.
o Stir carefully and garnish with banana slices


James Bond

James Bond

Surprising and this one is absolutely not shaken, but also not stirred!

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o 1 Sugar Cube
o 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
o 25 ml Vodka
o Champagne


* Preparations:

o Moisturize a sugar cube with Angostura
o Drop it in a pre chilled flute glass
o Pour in chilled Vodka
o Complete with chilled Champagne and serve


Champagne Cobbler

Champagne Cobbler

The Cobbler, a mix of sherry, sugar, lemon and ices, was very popular in times of Charles Dickens. This one is a lot more stubborn and has a lot more bubbles.

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o Ice
o 19 ml Champagne
o 7 ml Curacao
o 1 tsp Sugar Syrup
o fresh fruit


* Preparations:

o Stir Champagne, Curacao and sugar syrup in a mixing glass with ice
o Strain into a pre chilled highball glass with ice
o Garnish with skewed (gespiest) fresh fruits

Rumour goes that this was Ernest Hemingways favourite drink when he lived in Paris. The aniseed brings a mysterious, misty result ànd moreover, it's very tasty!

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o Ice
o 25 ml Pernod
o Dry Champagne


* Preparations:

o Put two ice cubes in a flute glass.
o Pour in Pernod and complete with chilled Champagne
o Drink this cocktail quickly before bubles go spread all over!

A new cruise ship deserves a new cocktail and no doubt there are made lots of them, just like drinked of them on the many majestic travels. This one serves 8 people!

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o Ice
o Juice of 1 lime
o Powdered Sugar
o 13 ml Sugar Syrup
o 50 ml Drambuie
o 75 ml Soda Water
o 1 bottle Red or Pink Sparkling Wine
o splitted maraschino cherries


* Preparations:

o Rim a flute glass using lemon juice and sugar
o Pour juice, sugar syrup, Drambuie and soda water in a mixing glass with ice
o Strain into the flute glass
o Complete with sparkling wine
o Garnish with splitted maraschino cherries dropped in the glass and serve with a straw

In the area of Valencia you can pick the tastiest oranges. This is a great way to enjoy the local product. Undoubtedly a herald of the Buck's Fizz.

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o Ice
o 100 ml Orange Bitter
o 1 tsp Apricot Liqueur
o 9 ml orange juice
o 9 ml Apricot Brandy
o Champagne


* Preparations:

o Shake the first 4 ingredients with ice
o Strain into a pre-chilled flute glass
o Complete with chilled Champagne

Pear gives a cocktail a alcoholic taste, whether it's in an alcoholic form or not. When you first boil the pears, they become more tasty and they'll surely add more flavour to this cocktail.

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o Ice
o 25 ml Pear Schnapps
o Pear Cider
o slice of pear or a cherry


* Preparations:

o Pour schnapps in a pre chilled flute glass
o Add the cider slowly
o Garnish with a pear slice or a red cherry dropped in

How can you make it?


* Ingredients:

o 1 Ice cube
o 13 ml Cognac
o 13 ml Nectarine Liqueur-Brandy or Schnaps
o 1 Passion Fruit (Juice without seeds)
o Champagne


* Preparations:

o Stir first 3 ingredients in a mixing glass with ice
o Strain into a Champagne short glass and drop an ice cube in
o Fill with chilled Champagne carefully and serve
